About Cincinnati Christian Therapy Group
Mollie Ridings, LISW-S, MSW
Clinic Owner, Clinic Supervisor
Real healing doesn't come from trying harder. It comes from slowing down, turning around, and addressing what's holding you back in the first place.
Trying harder is the only thing you know how to do. You keep the peace, replay old conversations, and apologize before you’ve said anything wrong. You don’t know what self-confidence is anymore. You love Jesus, yet you still go to bed wondering why you never feel like enough.
Mollie started Cincinnati Christian Therapy Group because she kept meeting people stuck between two bad options: good Christian counseling with thin clinical training, or strong trauma training that treated faith like a liability.
She’s a Licensed Independent Social Worker with over a decade in the field, including years on a human trafficking hotline. Mollie has sat with enough people to know that praying harder was never meant to be the whole plan. It was part of it. She and her team bring the missing piece: trauma-focused therapy.
We believe that healing is a lot like swimming underwater when your foot gets caught in a rope. Your instinct is to kick harder and push forward, but the more you fight it, the tighter the rope becomes.
So we slow down, turn around, and address what’s holding you back. That’s where real healing happens.
We use somatic therapy, EMDR, mindfulness, and DBT skills to settle a body that’s been on alert for years. We name the lies you’ve been carrying, build boundaries you can hold, and grow confidence rooted in who you are and who you are in Christ.
Plenty of therapists will help you feel better for an hour. We’re here to help you get better, with Jesus at the center of the work and the clinical training to back it up.
What We Believe & How It Shows Up In Session
We pray for our clients every day. Scripture, prayer, and your identity in God shape the work, from the first session forward.
You took time out of a packed schedule to be here. We start on time, we say what we mean, and we tell you the truth from day one.
We train continually in trauma, somatic work, and faith integration. Good intentions aren't a treatment plan. Practice is.
Our Approach
How Our Therapy Works
Step 1: Find Stability
Instead of trying harder, we slow down. We look at what’s happening beneath the surface, and build tools that help you feel grounded and confident.
Step 2: Heal The Wounds
Together, we work through the trauma, relationship experiences, and beliefs that shape how you see yourself, others, and God.
Step 3: Move Forward With Confidence
You learn to navigate relationships, set boundaries, make decisions, and live from a secure sense of who God created you to be.
